About this deal

En este libro hay un pequeño romance, hay una revolucionaria que haría cualquier cosa por ayudar a sus seres queridos. Un libro que habla sobre resistencia, amor a la patria y verdad. One of the most amazing parts of this book is that it is based on a real woman who actually assassinated powerful Nazis and bombed their factories. Her parents are real, her friends are real, her fellow members of the resistance are real, and the men she killed are real. But your dreams died in wartime, and your country is under siege. What do you do when the people you love are no longer safe? Features linked to every topic and spread in the book which provide invaluable material that enhances the use of the Student Book:

Lifelines’ are very straightforward, easy-to-digest key descriptive points for the spread topic. Ideal for students struggling to grasp the essential point It's quite heavy-going, which for a book set in WW2 shouldn't really be a surprise, but it's clear that Buzzy has a respect for her subject choice, because nothing is there just for the sake of it or for entertainment purposes. I know a fiction book at its very heart is a piece of entertainment, so I appreciate that, but there is so much tenderness and respect here that it is just pitch perfect. Hiding them is not enough. Will you stand aside as the menace of Nazi evil tightens its grip on your homeland? Or do you unleash your fury, joining forces with your enemies' enemies, plotting to strike?Designed to support you planning and delivering this course this is a 2nd edition of the immensely popular web-based resource comprising 2nd Edition Student and Teacher Digital Books for Year 1 and AS. A blazing debut novel based on the unsung true story of Hannie Schaft, a young-woman-turned-Dutch-Resistance-fighter in Nazi-occupied Netherlands.

I am always drawn to Historical Fiction, particularly WWII! When reading, I’m hopeful of triumph over evil! I have read many war books - WW1 and WW2 - and this is possibly one of the best about the Second World War that I've read. It's hard to put into words why - which as a book review, seems like a problem. But I implore you to read this and hopefully you'll know what I mean. There aren't the words to give this the recognition it deserves, it is simply spellbinding. I classify this as historical fiction even though the events are true. The reason I call it fiction based upon true events is because it contains dialogue written as quotes. Unless the author was present when these conversations took place, one cannot classify this novel as nonfiction. Practice questions – lots of extra questions help your students practise and prepare for their examsOur students find the Year 1 DBB really useful and I have found it an excellent teaching resource.” I have been very pleased with the resource. I bought the Digital Book Bundle, which has been tremendously helpful in terms of the additional information and activities within it.” I recommend you book your Pre-wedding hair trial 8-ten weeks before your wedding day. Trials take place Mon – Thu at my studio in Northamptonshire. I’d like to thank Ellie from Penguin for sending me an ARC of this book. Special shout out to my friend Wendy who buddy read this with me, I loved our daily chats as we read. The Digital bundle has been an excellent and well researched resource. It provides many activities for students to apply their knowledge, a key skill in Psychology. The range of activities is also key to accommodating the different styles of learner. The online textbook means students can access it anytime, anywhere, so no excuses if they go on holiday! I have also been impressed by the extension material provided to stretch and challenge students who wish to delve further into topics. It has been an amazing resource to assist in the delivery of the new specification. We’re looking forward to using the new A-Level bundle.”

As long as new hair cells continue to grow in the hair bulb, the hair continues to grow longer. This growth phase is also called the anagen phase. At any point in time, about 90 percent of a person’s total amount of hair is in this growth phase. The Girl with the Red Hair tells the story of Hannie Schaft, a young Dutch Law student who witnesses the injustice and horror experienced by her Jewish friends and neighbours and becomes involved in the Resistance movement. Each bundle is a one-off price – no annual subscription charges and no price band per size of institution.

A riveting historical novel based on the true story of Johanna (Hannie) Schaft who was part of the Dutch Resistance during World War II - unputdownable!! Evaluation extra’ provide a slightly elaborated version with a conclusion to model for students how they can extend their points and provide a conclusion. I’ve buddy read this with Lucy and we both agreed how much we’ve learnt and how much we admire what Hannie stood for, what she fought for and her resistance work with Truus and Freddie was simply awe inspiring.
